2Personal data we process

On our website, data is processed only when you share it:

• Quote and contact form: full name, company, email, phone, product of interest, estimated power and the content of your message.
• When you reach us by phone, email or WhatsApp: your contact details and the content of the correspondence.
• ONS Assistant chat: what you type is processed in your browser and cleared when the session ends; it is not sent to our servers.
• Document requests (technical documents and price lists): email address, optionally name and company, the requested document, page language, request and download times, and your optional consent to commercial messages.

3Purposes and legal bases

Your data is processed to answer your request, prepare quotations, provide technical advice and communicate with you. The legal bases under KVKK Article 5/2 are the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (c), compliance with legal obligations (ç) and our legitimate interests, provided they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f). The checkbox on the form confirms that you have read this notice.

For document requests, your data is processed to email you the download link for the requested document, to record the request and to contact you about product selection and quotes. Product and campaign news (commercial electronic messages) is sent only if you separately and optionally consent to it, in line with Law No. 6563 and the Message Management System (İYS) rules; you can withdraw this consent at any time.

4Transfers

Your data may be shared, strictly for the purposes above, with service providers that supply hosting, email and communication infrastructure, and with legally authorized public bodies. It is not sold or passed to third parties for marketing.

Depending on the location of our infrastructure providers, your data may be processed on servers abroad; in that case we act in accordance with KVKK Article 9.

5Retention

Your personal data is kept for the periods required for the purpose of processing and set by the relevant legislation:

• Quote, contact and document requests: 2 years from the date the request is concluded or the last contact.
• Correspondence and commercial documents that lead to a sale or contract: 10 years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102.
• Consent records for commercial electronic messages: 3 years from the date consent is withdrawn or expires (Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages, Article 13).
• Document download records: 2 years from the date of recording.
• Hosting provider server logs: for the period set by Law No. 5651 and related legislation.
• ONS Assistant chat: deleted when the browser tab is closed. Details remembered by the document dialog stay only in your browser until you clear site data.

Data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymized through periodic disposal carried out at intervals not exceeding 6 months. You may also request deletion before the period ends under KVKK Article 11; records subject to a legal retention obligation are kept for the duration of that obligation.

6Cookies and browser storage

Our website does not currently use advertising, marketing or third-party analytics cookies. ONS Assistant keeps the chat history only for the duration of the session in your browser’s temporary storage (sessionStorage). If analytics tools are added in the future, this notice will be updated and a consent mechanism will be provided.

7Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed and request information
• learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
• know the third parties to whom data is transferred at home or abroad
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions set by law
• request that corrections and deletions be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred
• object to a result against you arising from automated analysis of your data
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

8How to apply

You can send requests regarding your rights via export@onsenerji.com. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. Browser storage (sessionStorage, localStorage) works similarly and keeps site-related information on your device.

What we use on this site

This website does not use advertising, marketing, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics cookies. The only storage we use is:

• ONS Assistant chat history (sessionStorage): kept so you can continue the chat in the same tab, deleted when you close the tab and never sent to our servers. It is functional storage.
• Assistant greeting card (sessionStorage): stores only that you closed the card in this tab so it is not shown again; it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab.
• Document request dialog (localStorage): your email address, name and company are stored in your browser only so the fields are pre-filled next time; they reach our server only when you submit the form. You can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.
• Hosting provider server logs: information such as IP address, browser type and visit time may be recorded for security and technical operation. These are not cookies.

Third-party links

When you click our links to external services such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, those platforms’ own cookie and privacy policies apply. Their content is not embedded in our site. The location map (Google Maps) loads only when you click "Load the map"; until then no connection to Google is made, and once loaded Google may use its own cookies.

Managing your preferences

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Session data such as the ONS Assistant history is deleted automatically when you close the tab. Blocking storage does not affect the core functions of the site.

Changes

If an analytics or similar tool is added to our site, this policy will be updated and your prior consent will be requested for non-essential cookies.
